Vita Audio – a dedication to great sound

Vita Audio was founded by Alan O’Rourke and Neil Adams with one simple desire – to design and build the finest compact audio products available.

Lifelong audiophile Alan has worked in the British audio industry for three decades, having setup the hugely acclaimed Ruark Acoustics with his father Brian in 1986. His move into the compact audio field came in 2004 when searching for a radio for his own use.

He couldn’t find to meet his exacting standards so, driven by a passion to bring high fidelity credentials to the compact audio field, he formed Vita Audio with Neil.

The pair launched the highly praised R1 in 2006, and the range also includes the R4 – an iPod dock, DAB radio and CD player in one.
